Speed; furious roaring sound of burst, burning smell of tires, running out odometer, unstoppable acceleration and this addiction of being the fastest from the faster brings us to the topic of ‘exhaust’ and if this word has been mentioned here how can we not say “Akrapovic Exhaust”. The one and only among brands of exhaust which provides immaculate quality, durability and amazing experience; which is worth betting on! Before the release of ‘Torque (the movie)’ we all used to think that speed has limits and that limit is limited to race tracks only, but who can stop the unstoppable (Speed) after the release of movies like: Fast and the furious, Tokyo drift, Death Race and Torque actually exhaust technology became bread and butter for motorbike mechanics and craze for bikers.
Has anyone ever observed why it is called an ‘exhaust’ because it is required when the motorbike’s odometer is not moving further and that devil wants the motorbike to hit beyond limits and capacity; honestly with that one push on that small button; motorbikes become a bullet, furiously crazy. Akrapovic exhausts makes its position to the top not because of its just perfect quality but, the three major materials which they used for creating this miracle system such as: High grade titanium, stainless steel and pre impregnated ultra-light carbon fiber with extreme high tensile strength and temperature, this state of the art technology make it the first choice, for those who don’t know the meaning of control and limits.
Akrapov as a company started from a very small workshop in Slovenia in 1991, the which has not became a giant name, which needs no introduction the sharp mind behind this whole idea was Igor Akrapoc a racer and who did not limit this idea to two wheelers only, he spread the discovery towards 4 wheelers as well; like mentioned speed has no limits.
It will be a bit technical but let see how it they build it: After such a humongus success Akrapov produce their in house tubes using their tube mill. Titanium is generated in coils, that coil is then installed in a yarn like machine and rolled in a tube, finally sealed in one continual process. As it is understood that titanium is quiet difficult to handle ( as in shaping and bending), but Akrapov do this shaping and bending jobs flawlessly with the help of some state of the art bending machinery. Then comes a stage of welding of tubes and parts by both manual and automatic process (ofcourse with the help of a machine) so much so some of the parts are sandblasted in order to give them a touch of pristine finish. Any carbon fibre item which are used are finished and polished properly and finally to give it a magical touch after assembling, Akrapov logo is embossed with laser or stuck on every part. Which actually gives a magically push to every wheel. Akrapov a brand which knows no limits.
